Position Summary:



The Healthcare Educator is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing education and professional development programs to enhance clinical competencies, improve patient outcomes, and maintain high standards of nursing practice. The role involves training, mentoring, curriculum development, competency assessment, and ensuring compliance with statutory and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Training & Education Delivery



Conduct classroom and on-floor training sessions for nursing and healthcare staff.

Deliver induction and orientation programs for new joiners.

Provide refresher training on clinical procedures, patient care standards, and hospital protocols.

Ensure training content is understandable in English and Tamil.

Clinical Skill Development



Conduct hands-on skill training including basic nursing procedures, infection control, patient safety, and documentation.

Support ward staff with real-time guidance during clinical practice when required.

Ensure standard nursing practices are followed across departments.

Training Planning & Coordination



Prepare monthly and weekly training schedules in coordination with hospital units.

Travel to OMR / ECR branches as per assigned training requirements.

Coordinate with nursing supervisors and department heads for training needs.

Assessment & Evaluation



Assess trainee performance through tests, demonstrations, and practical evaluations.

Maintain training attendance records, assessment sheets, and feedback forms.

Identify skill gaps and recommend corrective training plans.

Documentation & Reporting



Maintain complete training documentation and records for audit and internal review.

Submit training reports and performance summaries to management.

Support quality initiatives and compliance-related training requirements.

Quality & Compliance Support



Assist in preparing staff for audits, inspections, and accreditation requirements.

Ensure staff adherence to hospital policies, safety norms, and ethical practices.

Promote continuous learning and professional development culture.

Mandatory Work Requirements:



Daily training or on-floor education activities as per schedule.

Maintain updated training materials and lesson plans.

Regular branch visits when training is scheduled.

Accurate documentation of all training activities.

Strict adherence to hospital training standards and timelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills:



Any Degree from a Medical / Healthcare background.

Nursing qualification and training experience will be highly preferred.

Minimum 3+ years of experience in healthcare training or clinical education.

Strong training and presentation skills.

Fluency in Tamil and English.

Good communication, mentoring, and coordination abilities.

Work Conditions:



Day shift - 9 AM to 6 PM.

Base location: Tambaram.

Travel required to OMR / ECR branches for training sessions.
