Job Description

Develop and implement site-specific Health and Safety Plans (HASP) in line with corporate and regulatory standards. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. This has to be done by visiting sites. Ensure all safety procedures and practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant safety regulations, laws, and industry standards. Lead incident/accident investigations and ensure timely reporting and documentation. Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training sessions for all site staff and contractors. Collaborate with project management and subcontractors to enforce safety compliance across all teams. Monitor and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety gear. Keep accurate records of inspections, incidents, safety meetings, and compliance documents. Participate in project planning to integrate safety considerations into construction methods and timelines. Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness
