As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess workplace safety conditions.
• Support in training employees on health and safety practices and procedures.
• Help investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate health and safety records and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and internal standards.
• Provide support in the preparation of health and safety reports for management.
• Collaborate with various departments to promote health and safety awareness.
• Stay updated on health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in health and safety roles.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant health and safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel to various sites as required.
