About the Role

We are looking for a Health Insurance Claims Expert with hands-on experience in managing or analysing

retail health insurance claims

. The ideal candidate should be passionate about making the insurance experience more transparent, consumer-friendly, and efficient. You will work closely with the founders, research team, and marketplace team to decode how claims truly function on the ground and contribute to building accurate, insightful claim-related content and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse and evaluate

retail health insurance claims

across cashless and reimbursement processes. Review

pre-authorisation requests

, documentation, settlements, escalations, and grievance cases. Work closely with internal teams to simplify complex claim cases into structured insights for research and content. Ensure clarity and accuracy in interpreting

policy terms, conditions, and exclusions

. Stay updated on

IRDAI regulations

, claim processing guidelines, timelines, and customer rights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve internal claim-related workflows and consumer education.

What We're Looking For

2-4 years of experience in RETAIL health insurance claims

, working with an insurer, TPA, or claims support firm. Strong understanding of end-to-end claim processes (pre-authorisation, documentation, settlement, escalation, grievance redressal). Solid understanding of health insurance contracts, policy wordings, and latest product features. Knowledge of

IRDAI claim regulations

, processing timelines, and consumer rights. Excellent analytical skills with strong documentation and communication abilities. Ability to break down complex claim scenarios into simple, structured insights.
