Brief about the position : The project is about \'Improving Health Outcomes in the state of Uttar Pradesh\' supported by one of the reputed CSR partners of Prayatna, Reckitt Benckiser. The project is focusing on mosquito borne disease (malaria) its impact, control and elimination in the district of Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The Health Educator will work along the Program Manager & will work towards achieving the desired outcomes of the project. Details of Position Designation: Health Educator, Location: Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh Reporting To: Program Manager - Bareilly Job Profile Program Management and Implementation Support malaria prevention and control operations in the designated area. Conduct supervisory visits to all the schools once every fortnight. Work closely with the district program manager to ensure effective implementation of the project in the district. Keep a regular update (social, demographic etc.) Of the area you are working at. Organize school/community levels events as per the project requirement & disseminating the Curriculum on malaria Conduct field survey as and when required. Maintain project records and ensure timely submission of reports. Conduct fortnightly fever survey in the schools and community. Function as point person at community levels to liaison with the health systems / schools / community. Function as point person for technical support on malaria for mentoring frontline health workers (ASHA, ANM, AWW, health worker), schools and community. Imbibing the vision of the project and executing it on the ground with the team as envisioned by the donor. Undertake all the monitoring activities required in the project including day to day planning, operations, coordination, and reviews with the project staff. Ability to multitask, adept in undertaking new challenges and simplifying complex problems. Any other task assigned by the organization. The candidate should be resilient and adaptive to the working environment based on the dynamic need of the project . Works in close coordination with the central team of the donor and implementing partner. All reports to be sent to the Program Manager. Responsible for timely reporting and quality documentation related to project(s) assigned both to donor and implementing agency. Submission of weekly, fortnightly, monthly, report about the progress of the project to both the implementation partner and the donor Documenting project experiences / learning / achievement / activities. Deliverables Expected timely reporting in specified electronic format submitted to the reporting officer. Weekly/Fortnightly/Monthly progress report will cover the activities performed, and the outcomes in terms of planned, achieved, problems identified and solutions worked out etc. Preparation of relevant document of activities specific for effective intervention including all the information with coverage and snaps. Preferred Candidate Profile Graduate degree in life science and related fields. Preferably the candidate could be an Teacher/Public Health Professional/Trainer Qualified from a renowned University/College Willingness to travel based on the need of the project. Good understanding of social & related media of on & off ground.
