Position: Officer / Sr. Officer - Safety

Location: Vapi, Gujarat

Desired Qualification: Diploma / B. Tech / B Sc. in Fire & Safety

Experience required: 6-10 yrs

Responsibilities:

Periodic visits to different sites and plants to identify, control, and eliminate unsafe acts and conditions across all plants and sites. To identify hazards by physical checks and implementation of BBS (Behaviors Safety) across all work locations. To interact with the project site engineers and plant staff across various sites and office locations to get their inputs/feedback related to safety issues. To conduct safety training, safety meetings, and toolbox meetings across the different plants and sites To investigate incidents and accidents that have occurred. Improvement of quality of PPEs (Personal Protection Equipment) and safety materials Preparation and monitoring of safety documents, reports, and checklists Establishment of safety, health, environment standards, ISO standards, and policies as needed. Conducting a periodic safety audit and ensuring timely closure and resolution of all open points related to the same. Training plant employees to deal effectively with emergencies related to accidents and fire hazards. Taking feedback on any incidents that have occurred and updating the SOP needed for similar future mishaps. Ensure the norms to be followed as per the prevailing Statutory Act.
