- Safety Officer - Engineer Grade

Department :

EHS (Environment, Health and Safety)

Education Required :

Diploma or BE with PDIS OR ADIS certified

Required work experience (in years) :

5 to 8 years in Constructional Projects or Highrise buildings, additionally any Manufacturing industry

Key Responsibilities



Oversee the EHS activities

Ensuring the Training to employees on different EHS topics as per the site requirement

Ensuring Safety Inspection and Audits

Ensuring Statutory compliance of EHS

Daily monitoring of site activities and report concerns and improvement

Specially take care of Fire safety systems

Conducting Safety Meeting and monitoring the compliance

Carryout daily rounds of the facility, Project sites, Hospitals to check safe working, identify unsafe acts and conditions, recommending preventive measures, cross-checking ongoing work, and delivering daily toolbox talks (TBT) for external parties, along with preparing reports & record-keeping.

Daily rounds of all the accommodation buildings, admin blocks, treatment sections, fitness center, Diet center, Utility shop, Powerhouse, Laundry & boiler, Koti, HEC, Canteens, GAIL facility.

Conduct monthly firefighting equipment's inspections JNI with maintenance technicians and the security team, preparing reports, circulating to management & record-keeping.

Ensuring monthly checking, servicing, record keeping of fire extinguishers

Inspections, refilling, replacement of fire extinguishers as per schedule

Identifying unsafe acts and conditions, providing preventive measures, informing all concerned to ensure & maintain records.

Survey for new requirement of fire extinguishers & arrange for procurement.

Conducted firefighting training and demonstration of firefighting equipment for all staff, workers, and security personnel.

Organizing and conducting safety training, events to promote awareness and best practices among staff and workers.

Conduct timely training / Toolbox Talks (TBT) for contract workers before starting any work

Carry out incident investigations, prepare reports, and follow up on recommendations for closure in coordination with the departments concerned.

Tracking the status of pending incident recommendations and following up with the concerned in-charge.

Conducting mock drills in coordination with the team as per NABH / statutory requirements.

Carryout third party audit / NSC fire audit in coordination with Team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
