Job Description

Develop, implement, and maintain

HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices

for foundry operations Ensure compliance with

local labor laws, factory acts, and statutory safety requirements

Identify hazards related to

molten metal, heat, dust, fumes, noise, electricity, and heavy machinery.

Perform regular

safety inspections and audits

of furnaces, cranes, ladles, electrical systems, and PPE usage Investigate

accidents, incidents, and near misses

, prepare reports, and recommend corrective/preventive actions Maintain statutory registers, permits, and safety documentation.

Hazards Managed in Foundry Environment

High-temperature furnaces and molten metal Silica dust and toxic fumes Heavy lifting and crane operations Fire and explosion risks Electrical and mechanical hazards High noise and vibration levels

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

industrial safety and foundry processes

Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations Knowledge of statutory safety regulations Good communication and training skills Analytical and problem-solving ability Strong shop-floor presence and leadership
