Role Overview
We are seeking a disciplined, proactive, and highly responsible
Ex-Army Security, Safety & Health Officer
to oversee and implement security, safety, and occupational health standards across our organization. The ideal candidate will combine military training, leadership, and operational experience with expertise in safety management and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities :
Security Management
Ensure overall security of premises, personnel, and assets.
Supervise and train security staff, enforcing discipline and protocols.
Implement access control, visitor management, and surveillance operations.
Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and incident investigations.
Respond promptly to emergencies, breaches, or threats.
Health & Safety Management
Develop and implement workplace health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations (OSHA/local laws).
Manage first-aid facilities, emergency medical preparedness, and fire safety equipment.
Lead safety drills, awareness programs, and staff training sessions.
Emergency Preparedness
Lead emergency responses, including fire, medical, or security crises.
Maintain emergency contact lists, protocols, and equipment readiness.
Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed security logs, safety reports, and incident records.
Prepare periodic reports for management on security and safety compliance.
Ensure all safety and security documentation is current and accurate.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Ex-Army personnel (JCO, NCO, or Officer) strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of security operations, emergency protocols, and safety regulations.
Excellent physical fitness, vigilance, and leadership skills.
Ability to handle crises calmly and make quick, effective decisions.
Good communication and team management skills.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, email).
Certifications in Health & Safety or Security Management are a plus.
