Job Summary:


The Health and Safety Executive is responsible for implementing and monitoring workplace safety programs, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization. This role involves risk assessment, safety audits, training, and reporting incidents to prevent occupational hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Health & Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national health & safety regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and industry best practices.

Risk Assessment & Management:

Conduct regular risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety audits. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Incident Management:

Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe practices. Prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures.

Training & Awareness:

Conduct safety training sessions and workshops for employees. Promote awareness programs on safety procedures, emergency response, and PPE usage.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate safety records, incident logs, and compliance documents. Prepare regular safety performance reports for management review.

Emergency Preparedness:

Develop and maintain emergency response procedures. Conduct fire drills and emergency simulations periodically.

Collaboration:

Work closely with HR, Operations, and other departments to ensure safety policies are followed. Advise management on safety improvements and cost-effective risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field. Certification in Safety Management (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in industrial or corporate health & safety. Strong knowledge of statutory safety laws, regulations, and ISO standards. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct audits, inspections, and training effectively.

Proactive and safety-conscious mindset. Attention to detail and ability to identify risks. Ability to influence and train employees on safety practices. Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Work Environment:



Industrial or manufacturing plant setting, with exposure to operational hazards. Occasional travel to other facilities for audits or inspections.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
