22+ years in Design Engineering - Sugar Industry

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the

Mechanical & Process Design

teams for sugar plant projects. Provide technical leadership in designing sugar industry equipment like Mill, carriers, fibrizors, clarifiers, evaporators, crystallizers, centrifugal machines, condensers, boilers, etc. Ensure designs meet

industry codes, standards, and client specifications

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Proposals, Projects, Procurement, and Site Execution. Review and approve detailed design documents, drawings, and calculations. Innovate and drive value engineering initiatives to optimize performance and cost. Coordinate with global clients, consultants, and site teams for technical discussions and resolution. Mentor and guide design engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and talent development. Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality, and documentation protocols. Support Marketing/Proposals teams with technical inputs and solution development.

Key Requirements:

B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Postgraduate qualification in Design/Process (preferred). Proven 7-10 years as HOD experience in the

Design - Sugar projects

with exposure to both process and mechanical aspects Strong knowledge of international codes (ASME, API, IS) and software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PV Elite, etc.). Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Pay: ₹5,000,000.00 - ₹5,800,000.00 per year
