To provide strong academic and administrative leadership to the school section (Primary/Middle/Senior), ensuring effective teaching-learning processes, discipline, staff coordination, and adherence to CBSE guidelines and school policies.
Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership
Plan, implement, and monitor the school's academic calendar in line with CBSE norms.
Supervise lesson planning, pedagogy, and classroom delivery across all subjects.
Ensure continuous evaluation and assessment of students.
Promote innovative and activity-based learning practices.
Organize remedial classes, enrichment programs, and academic competitions.
Ensure timely completion of syllabus and maintenance of academic records.
2. Staff Management
Supervise and mentor teachers to maintain teaching quality and professional growth.
Conduct regular staff meetings, classroom observations, and performance appraisals.
Identify staff training needs and coordinate professional development workshops.
Maintain healthy staff relations and foster teamwork.
3. Student Development & Discipline
Oversee student attendance, punctuality, and discipline.
Encourage holistic development through co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Address behavioral or academic concerns in collaboration with parents and teachers.
Ensure child-friendly and safe school environment.
4. Administration & Compliance
Implement school policies and CBSE/education board regulations.
Assist in school inspections, audits, and affiliation processes.
Maintain accurate records -- attendance, results, staff details, and registers.
Coordinate with the Principal on administrative matters like timetables, duty rosters, etc.
Ensure smooth conduct of examinations and school events.
5. Parent & Community Relations
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and school activities.
Conduct PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings) and address parental concerns promptly.
Promote a positive image of the school in the local community.
6. Leadership & Vision
Support the Management in implementing the school's vision and mission.
Act as a role model in professionalism, ethics, and dedication.
Encourage innovation, inclusivity, and excellence at all levels of the school.
