About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced
Medical Affairs professional
with a strong
pharmaceutical background
to join our growing medical team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging commercial functions, ensuring scientific accuracy, and strategic alignment with the medical vision of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the medical affairs strategy in alignment with marketing.
Provide scientific support for brand teams, sales, and field force training.
Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure compliance with medical standards.
Liaise with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders for advisory board meetings, CMEs, and scientific exchanges.
Lead the development and execution of investigator-initiated studies (IIS), post-marketing surveillance (PMS), and real-world evidence (RWE) projects.
Stay updated on latest clinical guidelines, scientific literature, and competitor landscape.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams pharmacovigilance, and R&D.
Requirements:
7-8 years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
Educational background in
MBBS / MD / PharmD / MPharm / PhD in Life Sciences
(Pharma background is a must).
Strong knowledge of therapeutic areas, drug development lifecycle, and regulatory environment.
Excellent communication, scientific writing, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and external medical experts effectively.
Experience working in compliance with medical and promotional codes (e.g., OPPI, IFPMA).
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Based on
Mumbai Western Line
(Andheri, Goregaon, Malad, Kandivali, Borivali, etc.).
Prior experience with both domestic and international pharma markets is a plus.
Comfortable with travel for scientific meetings and KOL engagements.
Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods preferred.
