Position: Head- Operations and Business Development Manager

Location: Madhapur, Hyderabad
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head/Senior Operations Manager to join our new travel company. The Operations or Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the company, including tour package &travel planning, product development, logistics, customer service, vendor management and legal & appellant issues. The ideal candidate (preferably from Tourism &Travel industry) should have proven leadership and management skills, along with a strong ability in strategy.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with the company\'s business goals and objectives.
- Analyse market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
2. Sales Leadership:
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Drive the development of innovative sales initiatives to expand market share.
3. Marketing Management:
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and attract new customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling content, promotional materials, and digital marketing strategies.
4. Product Development:
- Work closely with product development teams to ensure offerings meet market demands and are aligned with customer preferences.
- Introduce new products or experiences to enhance the company\'s competitive position.
5. Data Analysis:
- Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts.
- Make informed decisions based on key performance indicators and market analytics.
6. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor and report on budget performance, making adjustments as needed.
7. Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales and marketing team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture, encouraging professional development.
8. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure cross-functional alignment and synergy.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless customer experiences.
9. Brand Representation:
- Act as the primary ambassador for the organization, representing the brand at industry events, conferences, and with the media.
- Uphold and enhance the company\'s reputation within the tourism sector.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Travel, Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master\'s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the tourism industry.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behaviour, and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and utilization of CRM tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
