Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Category Head - Women's Wear to lead merchandising, buying, inventory planning, and sales performance for our women's apparel category. The role requires strong product understanding, commercial thinking, and the ability to manage a team on the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete women's wear category end-to-end Buying & Merchandising: selection, assortment curation, vendor coordination Inventory planning, replenishment, and stock optimization Track trends, customer preferences, and market insights Monitor category performance and drive monthly/seasonal targets Lead, mentor, and supervise the sales team Ensure excellent customer experience and sales-floor efficiency Coordinate with management on brand direction, promotions, and reporting

Candidate Requirements

2-5+ years of experience in women's wear retail, buying, merchandising, or category management Strong fashion sense and understanding of customer behavior Good communication, leadership, and decision-making skills Ability to manage a team and handle on-ground store operations Should be settled in Indore or willing to relocate long-term A stable, responsible, and mature professional approach suited for a senior role
