PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Strategizing approach for bulk vessel movement, with right mix of LTC/CoA & spot purchase. Exploring options for possible consolidation across Sector to optimise spend-base via leveraging scale/volume.. Engaging with best-in-class direct owners /vendors/liners to ensure timely vessel availability at optimum cost & serviceability. Devising overall SOP/framework for engaging with liners/vessel owners, and ensure implementation. Ensuring timely finalization of chartering fixtures & cargo movement as per plan Carry detailed market analysis of vessel/container availability, freights and operations along with visibility on future scenario. Engage with market to ensure continuous benchmarking of chartering rates, operational performance & new vendor development. Overviewing the cost and regular Chartering and ensuring high level of transparency and governance framework Operationally supporting the team in terms of fixtures and trouble shooting in case of any exigencies Support and synergize Group Chartering CANDIDATE PROFILE Good communication skills and business acumen Business excellence & driving results with an ownership mindset and unwavering focus on Governance, Ethics & Integrity Experience of Chartering and Shipment B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA | Experience of 10-12 years Diversity leaders are encouraged to apply
