Reporting Manager: Cluster Head - ChannelsJob SummaryThe incumbent is responsible for identifying and engaging with the company's major outlets (pharmacies) to improve market share.The responsibilities also include ensuring proper availability and visibility of our focus SKUs, and managing a team responsible for meeting pharmacies.Areas Of Responsibility

  • Identify and engage with our major retailers (pharmacies)
  • Understand current levels of substitution and the factors influencing it across geographies, income groups, and therapy areas
  • Design a roadmap to influence the factors leading to substitution at key outlets and attempt to reduce it
  • Head an order taking team responsible for ensuring availability directly at the retailer level
  • Build relationships with major retailers through loyalty programs
  • Leverage the Analytics team to identify sales trend for key brands/ therapy areas, including that of our competition
  • Will be responsible for setting up his/her own team
Educational Qualification
  • MBA or equivalent degree preferred
Skills
  • Persuasion skills to be able to convince clients to prescribe / purchase goods and inspire employees to succeed.
  • Negotiation skills to create the most profitable deals.
  • Strong management skills to lead employees across different territories.
  • Effective communication skills, to both listen and speak to all types of individuals.
  • Business acumen to determine and enforce beneficial strategies to run the sales team
  • Reviewing performance periodically & proactively taking corrective measures for sales enhancement
  • Identifying business opportunities and provide appropriate proposals
  • Find different solutions & action plan to overcome the challenges and ach. the objectives
Experience
  • 17+ years of experience preferably from a nutraceutical arm of a major FMCG company
  • Should have worked closely with pharmacies with experience in both trade and shopper marketing
  • Proven expertise in leveraging analytics to strengthen trade relationships
  • Experience in building high performance teams
