Title - Head Technical Training
Location - Mumbai
Role Reports To - CHRO
Team Size - 4-5 members
Purpose:
Technical Training Manager responsibilities include identifying training needs, developing educational curricula and material and increasing trainees' engagement with learning sessions. If you're an expert with technology and have experience coordinating training courses in a corporate environment, we'd like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will ensure all employees develop their technical skills and knowledge and are able to perform their daily tasks and solve clients' problems.
As Head of Technical Training, your Role & Responsibilities will include;
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive technical training programs for employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars to educate employees on product knowledge, technical concepts, and processes.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in products/technology to ensure training materials are current and relevant.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees, answering questions and addressing concerns related to technical training.
Collaborate with departments to identify training needs and develop customized programs to meet those needs.
Monitor and track employee progress and performance following training, providing additional support or resources as needed.
Coordinate product-related trainings, including presentations of new features and simulation activities
Liaise with industry experts and organize workshops and classroom-style trainings
Skills and Personal attributes required:
Proven work experience as a Technical Training Manager or similar role
Experience in developing technical course content both for novices and experts
Knowledge of web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques
Ability to develop integrated training solutions from inception to post-delivery assessment;
Strong consulting and influencing skills; ability to think strategically;
Embraces working and operating in a highly collaborative and communicative environment;
Proven project manager, planner and organizer who can handle several tasks simultaneously;
Knowledge of innovative, current adult learning techniques and methodologies and the application of those to learning in the corporate setting;
High energy, positive, can-do person;
Experience building and growing complex professional relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders;
Make things happen and relishes accountability;
Familiarity with multi division - multi product manufacturing organization is a plus
Proven ability to understand an organization's current/desired state and actions to close gaps.
Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
Effective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to deadlines.
The ability to engage, conduct diagnosis, analyse findings, generate options and build commitment to solutions.
Numeracy and ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data.
