Job Title: Streaming Head

Reporting To: ZMC - Business Head
Experience: Minimum 7-10 years in music streaming, digital distribution, or label partnerships, with strong relationships across DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, JioSaavn, YouTube Music, etc.) and a proven record in driving both new releases and catalogue performance.
Role Overview
The Streaming Head will lead ZMC's end-to-end streaming and digital strategy driving visibility, audience growth, and revenue performance across all DSPs.
This role demands a sharp mix of data fluency and creative instinct, ensuring ZMC's new releases and catalogue both perform strongly across India and international markets. The ideal candidate understands platform algorithms, audience segmentation, and the evolving dynamics of streaming consumption, while maintaining deep relationships within the DSP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Streaming Strategy & PartnershipsBuild and execute comprehensive streaming strategies for all ZMC releases across DSPs. Cultivate strong relationships with editorial, content, and partnership teams at global and Indian DSPs. Secure key playlist placements, feature visibility, and editorial support for both frontline and catalogue releases. Lead DSP-specific promotions, exclusives, and artist spotlight campaigns.

2. Performance & InsightsMonitor daily and weekly performance across all platforms including streams, listeners, playlists, and engagement trends. Use insights to optimize release timing, audience targeting, and platform prioritization. Prepare analytical reports with actionable recommendations for artists, A&R, and marketing teams.

3. Catalogue Promotion & GrowthDesign and implement catalogue-specific streaming campaigns to drive sustained performance across India and rest of world. Work closely with DSPs to feature ZMC's catalogue in mood, genre, and nostalgia-based playlists. Identify global trends and localization opportunities to reposition key catalogue tracks. Develop reactivation strategies through remixes, anniversaries, and cross-platform storytelling.

4. Campaign Planning & CoordinationCollaborate with A&R, Marketing, and Creative teams to plan DSP rollouts and content delivery. Coordinate with distribution teams to ensure metadata accuracy, timely deliveries, and optimal release positioning. Integrate streaming campaigns with social and influencer initiatives for greater reach.

Qualifications & Skills7-10 years' experience in streaming, digital strategy, or label partnerships. Strong understanding of Indian and global DSP ecosystems and listener behavior. Proven track record of managing both new release and catalogue performance. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with streaming analytics tools and digital distribution workflows.
