Job Description

Responsibilities:
Site Construction Management: Responsible for the management of entier construction activities at the site
Responsible for Project Planning & Control of the mega project: Monitor and periodically review progress of Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities of the project. Establish system for timely receipt of engineering deliverables and materials for construction. Establish and maintain MIS for Management reporting. Ensuring the execution of the job within budget. Monitor Expenses with respect to budget.
Management of Change: Establish procedures to systematically capture and control changes during various phases of project execution. Control impact of changes on the project cost and schedule. Ensuring the management approval for the Changes.
Project Governance: To establish system and checks to authorizes all claims for payment from all contractors associated with project . Establish system to ensure the accuracy of billing in line with contractual obligation as per PO / SO and in line with scope as well as measurement sheets.
"Compliance with QA/QC, HSE and applicable Law: Establish QA/QC, HSE and compliance requirements under various laws for the project. Disseminate the QA/QC, HSE and compliance requirements to all project execution agencies. Oversee compliance in respect to QA/QC, HSE and labour law requirements by all contractors and agencies. Periodic reporting on compliance/ violations to management"
Effective Construction Coordination: To review and expedite construction jobs in consultation with Construction Managers.
Effective Cost & Resources utilization: Exercises strict control over costs of construction particularly the use of labour, materials and equipment. This includes reviewing variances from budgeted expenditure and recommends/initiates action to bring them under control.
Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Monitor, discusses and resolves site challenges with site Construction Managers, Leads & Engineers.
People Manager: To nurture, motivate and ensure high bonding, integration, communication and collaborative culture within cross functional team.
Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related area, with a Master's degree preferred.
Experiences:
Minimum 25 Years of relevant work experience of handling mega complex project with 7 years minimum in the similar role in a large / mid sized organization
Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders (Internal and External).
Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as knowledge of codes, standards and various acts.
Exposure to Customs & Logistics management
Exposure in handling Financial Matters
Strong People Management skills along with exposure in managing large teams (Team size including Direct as well as indirect reports
