Job Purpose: The Regional Security Head is responsible for managing security operations across multiple sites, aligning security measures with business goals and the Security Strategy Roadmap. This role ensures comprehensive protection of infrastructure, personnel, and assets through proactive threat assessment, risk management, and the deployment of security strategies that ensure business continuity. This role also oversees security-related automation, infrastructure projects, and leads a team to foster a safe and secure environment for employees, stakeholders, and "designated protectees."
Responsibilities:
Regional Security Head
Security Strategy & Governance:
Contribute to the Security Strategy and roadmap, aligning regional security initiatives with corporate policy.
Develop, manage, and monitor security budgets (Capex and Opex) and secure approvals in consultation with the Vertical Security Head.
Participate in governance meetings, reviewing ongoing initiatives, and suggesting improvements.
Security Risk Management & Audit:
Build relationships with local authorities and media to gather intelligence, assessing risks based on current events.
Conduct security risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, ensuring timely mitigation of gaps in infrastructure, technology, and processes.
Coordinate internal and third-party audits, addressing findings promptly to maintain a reliable security management system.
Crisis & Incident Management:
Design and implement Emergency Response and Control Plans (ERCP) for crisis scenarios, ensuring preparedness and swift recovery.
Supervise Quick Reaction Team (QRT) readiness and refine response plans based on incident learnings.
Security Operations Management:
Monitor adherence to SOPs and SOGs, generating MIS reports for updates to Site CEO and Vertical Security Head.
Oversee Site Security Control Room operations, integrating with the National Security Control Room for seamless incident escalation.
Manage access control, visitor access, traffic flow, and ensure proper surveillance to maintain operational vigilance.
Investigation & Due Diligence:
Lead investigations into incidents such as theft, fraud, and vandalism, and implement corrective actions.
Report findings and provide insights into critical incidents to business units.
Protection & Performance Improvement:
Establish performance metrics for security functions and drive process improvement initiatives.
Conduct security events as per annual plans, ensuring robust protection protocols are maintained.
Outsourced Manpower Management:
Oversee recruitment, performance, and welfare of outsourced security staff, ensuring alignment with defined standards.
Lead recruitment for vacant positions, foster a performance-driven culture, and support talent identification for critical roles.
Project Management:
Drive projects focused on security technology implementation and infrastructure enhancement in line with group security standards.
Ensure seamless project integration into regional operations, engaging stakeholders for effective adoption.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree (any) and a postgraduate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Preferable to have Certifications including Certified Protection Professional (CPP) / Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) / Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) certification/ Physical Security Professional (PSP) / Industrial Security professional certifications/ Project Management Professional (PMP) (Value Addition)
Work Experience (Range of years):
10-15 Years
Preferred Industry:
Experience in managing large or mid-sized site operations involving access control, risk management, surveillance, and crisis response; adept in budget management, compliance, and investigation protocols.
