Role Overview The Head of Sales will lead revenue growth across subscription products including equities, derivatives, commodities, mutual funds, and advisory-led brokerage offerings. This role is critical in scaling sales operations while ensuring regulatory compliance, customer trust, and long-term value creation in a fast-growing fintech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Business Growth
Own P L and revenue targets across BFSI product lines (Advisory, MF, Commodities)
Design and execute scalable sales strategies across offline,
Drive ARPU growth, upsell, cross-sell, and subscription renewals
2. Sales Team Leadership Scaling
Build and scale high-performing offline sales teams (advisors, team leads)
Define clear role structures, incentive plans, and performance metrics
Coach teams on consultative selling, financial product suitability, and ethical sales practices
Develop leadership pipelines for Team Leads/ Pod Heads
3. Regulatory Compliance Alignment
Ensure all sales processes align with applicable regulations
Maintain strict adherence to compliant communication, disclosures, and sales pitches
Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Legal teams to mitigate mis-selling risks Drive zero-tolerance culture towards unethical sales practices
4. Customer Experience Trust
Champion customer-first, advisory-driven selling over transactional sales
Improve conversion while minimizing refunds, complaints, and escalations
5. Process, Data Technology
Own CRM, lead routing, attribution, and sales automation frameworks
Leverage data analytics to optimize funnels, pricing, and conversion rates
Partner with Product and Tech teams to improve advisor tools and customer experience
Implement scalable onboarding, training, and certification programs
6. Reporting Strategic Governance
Review daily, weekly, and monthly revenue dashboards
Present forecasts, growth plans, and risk assessments to senior leadership
Drive disciplined execution through SOPs, audits, and review mechanisms
Key Skills Competencies
Proven experience in scaling sales in fintech, broking, wealth tech, or NBFC environments
Data-driven leader with strong execution and people management skills
High integrity, customer empathy, and long-term business mindset
Preferred Qualifications
8- 10 years of sales leadership experience
Prior experience in wealth management, or fintech platforms preferred
MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent professional qualification is a plus
