Committed to quality, innovation, and sustainability, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Global Head of Sales; a "Techno Commercial Role".
This role will play a pivotal role in driving sales and market share across diverse segments, including B2B, HORECA, B2C & E-Commerce.
The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision, market insight, and a proven track record in achieving revenue targets within the frozen food industry.
The sales head is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a proven track record of sales success, and the ability to motivate and coach a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, channels, and strategic partnerships to expand market presence
- Lead and motivate the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales goals
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to improve the skills and capabilities of the sales team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment of business goals.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance and forecast
- Analyse sales performance data to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that encourages continuous improvement
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats
- Work closely with the product development & innovation teams to ensure alignment with market demands and trends
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing commercial sales team
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to maximize sales productivity
- Lead initiatives to expand market reach and brand visibility
- Co-develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to enhance brand recognition
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to promote the brand and generate leads
Key Requirements:
- B.E. Food Processing Technology/ MBA (Master of Business Administration) with a focus on International Business
- 15+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets preferably from a spectrum of frozen foods industry
- Strong understanding of B2B, HORECA, and B2C sales channels
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to inspire, motivate, and develop the sales team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop and execute effective sales strategies with a results-driven mindset
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track sales performance
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in a competitive market
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
Job role would require travelling often to head office for Progress & Team Meetings & approved travel across the country & overseas for business requirements.
