The Quality Check (QC) Executive is responsible for maintaining product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across all nutrition products. This role ensures that every batch released meets the brand's standards through systematic testing, documentation, and coordination with manufacturing partners.
Key Responsibilities:-
Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
Verify ingredient claims, dosage accuracy, and formulation consistency.
Conduct microbial, heavy metal, and contaminant testing in coordination with external labs.
Review and maintain COAs, batch manufacturing records, and QC logs.
Perform physical and sensory checks: taste, texture, smell, mixability.
Ensure packaging quality -- sealing, labelling accuracy, printing clarity, and overall integrity.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI guidelines and internal SOPs.
Track deviations, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support audits by preparing QC documentation and compliance reports.
Liaise with production and warehouse teams for quality-related escalations.
Required Qualifications:-
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or similar field.
3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in Nutrition, FMCG, or Pharma.
Understanding of FSSAI regulations, documentation, and quality systems.
Hands-on experience with COA verification, stability studies, and testing protocols.
Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and analytical thinking.
