Purpose of Job



Strengthen supplier relationships by aligning strategies to meet supplier objectives. Further develop and drive the growth strategy and objectives for the organization to include both organic growth and adding new suppliers.

What you will do (not limited to)



Develop and implement strategies to maximize market opportunities, drive innovation, and achieve exceptional results. Strengthen the existing business portfolio by scouting for new principals(suppliers)and customers for food and nutrition portfolio like Nutrition, Bakery, Confectionery, Culinary (Starch) category. Analyze market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications. Conduct regular business reviews, providing insights on performance, strategy, and market opportunities. Foster long-term partnerships by aligning suppliers' goals with IMCD's strategic vision Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and suppliers. Regular market/competitor analysis to assess the demand, prices for specific products. Analyzing and managing pipeline projects and build strategic marketing plan. Negotiate purchase and sales contracts with suppliers and customers. Balance the supply/ demand of products and manage logistics by collaborating with CSR team Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders, understanding and interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing accounts. Submitting timely reports w.r.t s ales, customer visits and complying with the existing CRM. Co-ordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints for related suppliers. Providing technical inputs to customers and sales team by adding value to their product base to expedite projects. Participate in sales budgeting, monthly & annual reporting.

What we are looking for



Strong knowledge of the Food and Nutrition market and distribution business dynamics. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, inspire collaboration, and achieve results. Ability to develop and execute effective strategies to drive revenue and profitability. Excellent interpersonal, persuasion, and negotiation skills for managing supplier relationships and contracts. Sound technical knowledge on Food and Nutrition market and conversant with categories like Nutrition, Bakery, Confectionery, Culinary (Starch) Team player with sound verbal/ written communication skills and a customer centric mindset. Positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to challenges. Comfortable with travel (High degree). Ambitious, self-motivated, results driven and well-organized individual seeking a long-term association with the organization.

PERSON PROFILE: TARGETED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

12+ years of relevant KAM experience or sales experience preferably in specialty chemicals within distribution/ manufacturing industry. Proven track record in principal management, KAM or sales of speciality chemicals in food and Nutritions industry with a techno-commercial acumen. Proven success in managing business and driving sales growth Full time graduate degree in Food Technology/ B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. Chemistry/ relevant master degree will be the added advantage. Proven success in managing business and driving sales growth
