Role description

Operation & Maintenance of large turbo generators (upto 165 MW), CFBC AFBC WHRB gas fired boilers ranging from 60 TPH to 425 TPH. To be responsible for safe, reliable and efficient Operation and Mechanical Maintenance of Power Plants. Close monitoring of Boiler Feed Water, Steam Chemistry and provide necessary guidance. Planning of Statutory and other shutdowns with Internal & External Stake Holders. Coordination with IBR authority. Analysis of cost of Power & cost of Steam and take corrective action where cost reduction is possible. Implementation of Cost reduction programme. Monitoring of operational parameters of Power Plants and provide guidance. Provide guidance to safety & quality related activities. Monitoring the performance of critical equipment of Power Plants. To ensure that environmental norms are followed with regards to stack emission (SPM, SOX, NOX), and effluent discharge. Promote TQM, Process Safety, and other improvement initiatives to improve the overall plant performance.

Skills

Operation & Maintenance of large turbo generators (up to 165 MW), CFBC, AFBC, WHRB, gas fired boilers ranging from 60 TPH to 425 TPH. Comprehensive knowledge of boilers, turbines, plant instrument, air compressors, cooling towers, etc. Strong technical knowledge of power plant operations, maintenance, major outages, plant optimization initiatives and safety procedures In-depth knowledge in latest concepts, trends and practices of large scale Power Plant Budgeting, financial management, project management, and regulatory compliance

Full time B.E / B.Tech / Equivalent in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Power Plant / Chemical Engineering / Equivalent.
