large, multi-location manufacturing plants

in heavy engineering and equipment manufacturing.
The organization is strengthening leadership at its

Mother Plant - Sangli

, and is looking to induct a

battle-hardened maintenance leader

capable of driving world-class foundry operations.

Reporting to:

Plant Head

The Mandate

This role is not routine maintenance.
The incumbent will

own, lead, and transform

the complete maintenance function of a

large, heavy foundry ecosystem

comprising:

Alloy Cast Steel Foundry

Heavy Steel Castings

Cast Iron (CI) Foundry

Investment Casting exposure is welcome, but

only a minor part

of the operation

Eligibility - Non-Negotiable

BE / B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering

18-25 years

of deep, hands-on

foundry maintenance leadership

Mandatory exposure to

large furnaces, moulding lines, sand plants, heat treatment, shot blasting, and heavy material handling systems

Proven track record in

plant uptime improvement, breakdown elimination, and cost optimization

in heavy foundry environments

Key Leadership Responsibilities

Act as the

single-point owner

for maintenance excellence across the mother plant. Drive

near-zero breakdown culture

through robust

preventive & predictive maintenance systems

. Lead maintenance of

critical assets

including induction furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, moulding lines, sand preparation, utilities, and material handling systems. Strategically plan and control

maintenance budgets, spares, and manpower

for a large workforce. Champion

TPM, Lean, and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)

initiatives. Ensure full compliance with

statutory, safety, and audit requirements

. Mentor and develop a

high-performing engineering team

, grooming future leaders. Work closely with the Plant Head on

capacity expansion, modernization, and CAPEX projects

. Deliver measurable improvements in

OEE, MTBF, MTTR, energy efficiency, and maintenance cost ratios

.
