Key Responsibilities
Corporate Networking & Industry Connect
Build strategic partnerships with corporates, recruiters, chambers of commerce, and professional associations across diverse sectors.
Initiate and manage MoUs and alliances with companies, start-ups, and industry bodies.
Represent the institution at career fairs, conclaves, and leadership summits.
Develop sector-specific employer networks and establish industry-institution advisory boards.
Collaborate with skill councils and global chambers for international placements and internships.
Launch corporate research initiatives and publish industry insights newsletters.
Placement & Career Services
Drive campus recruitments, pooled drives, and internships in coordination with academic departments.
Provide structured career counselling and mentorship to students.
Maintain updated placement statistics, employer databases, and dashboards.
Support NAAC, NIRF, UGC, and accreditation processes with accurate placement data.
Student Training & Development
Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) and design pre-placement training modules.
Partner with corporate trainers, EdTech firms, and industry experts.
Facilitate entrepreneurship awareness, competitive exam guidance, and career boot camps.
Alumni Engagement
Strengthen alumni connect through digital platforms, chapters, and annual meets.
Develop structured alumni mentoring programs and leverage alumni for placements and internships.
Showcase alumni success stories and foster alumni-led institutional contributions.
Digital Platforms & Online Systems
Manage digital placement portals, dashboards, and online career tools.
Enhance employer outreach via LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and social media campaigns.
Integrate AI-based career solutions, psychometric tools, and digital resume banks.
Team Leadership & Strategic Contributions
Lead the Placements & Corporate Affairs team with clear KPIs and annual strategies.
Collaborate with faculty for industry-relevant curriculum integration.
Benchmark with top institutions and propose innovations for sustained excellence.
Desired Profile
Postgraduate Degree
in Management / HR / related fields from a reputed institution.
10-15 years of experience
in Corporate Relations, Training & Placements, or Leadership roles in higher education/industry.
Proven track record in
corporate networking, career services, and team leadership
.
Strong
strategic, digital, and communication skills
with ability to engage CXO-level leaders.
Exposure to
international collaborations, industry certifications, and EdTech platforms
