This is a critical role that directly partners with the leadership team to drive people strategy, organizational culture, and scalable HR operations.
Role Overview:
The Head of People & Culture will be responsible for designing and executing the organization's HR strategy, driving employee engagement, and fostering a performance-driven, inclusive, and collaborative work culture. This role requires strong exposure to managing large workforces (800+ employees) and experience in building HR systems, policies, and practices in a structured environment like manufacturing -- with the ability to adapt and lead in the more agile IT consulting space.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and execute the HR strategy in alignment with business goals and growth trajectory.
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on all people-related matters.
Lead organizational design, restructuring, and workforce planning initiatives.
Champion the transformation from legacy HR systems to agile, digital-first HR practices.
People Management & Workforce Engagement
Own the entire employee lifecycle: from talent acquisition, onboarding, and training to performance management and retention.
Build and maintain strong employee relations across departments and functions.
Implement engagement strategies suited for a diverse, multi-generational workforce transitioning from traditional to tech culture.
Drive programs focused on health, wellness, work-life balance, and employee well-being.
Cultural Transformation & Change Management
Shape a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, transparency, and innovation.
Lead change management efforts including mindset shifts, cultural adaptability, and alignment to new-age working models.
Translate manufacturing industry discipline into flexible, tech-driven HR practices that drive business results.
Promote an open-door culture and lead internal communications, feedback systems, and grievance redressal.
Talent Development & Leadership Building
Develop structured career paths, leadership pipelines, and learning & development frameworks.
Institutionalize capability-building initiatives that empower both functional and leadership growth.
Collaborate with business heads to identify high-potential talent and succession plans for key roles.
Introduce mentorship, coaching, and executive development programs.
HR Governance, Compliance & Analytics
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, statutory regulations, and corporate governance policies.
Manage HR audits, legal processes, vendor contracts, and disciplinary actions professionally.
Design and monitor HR dashboards and metrics (attrition, productivity, cost-to-hire, etc.) for decision-making.
Lead digital transformation in HR using modern HRMS/HRIS tools.
Candidate Profile:
Educational Qualification:
Graduate/MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent from a reputed institution.
Experience:
15+ years of core HR experience with a minimum of 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
Must have handled a workforce size of
800+ employees
in structured setups.
Mandatory exposure to large manufacturing setups

or similar sectors.
Strong business understanding with the ability to translate operational challenges into HR strategy.
Desired Skills:
Experience in setting up HR processes, SOPs, and frameworks from scratch.

Strong analytical mindset with comfort in using data for HR decision-making.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with strong executive presence.
Proven track record of leading HR transformation projects or cultural integration initiatives.
