Job Description

Job Purpose



This leadership position at AEERO drives the revenue engine and ensures seamless implementation of skill development programs by managing internal operations and engaging with key external stakeholders across states, training partners, assessment bodies, and government departments. The role is also responsible for building AEERO's national training and assessment capacity, regulatory compliance, and strategic partnerships with government and industry bodies.

Key Responsibilities



1. Operations & Project Implementation



Drive end-to-end project operations in alignment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Manage the timely execution and delivery of training and assessment programs pan-India. Plan, evaluate, and optimize internal operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Oversee day-to-day functioning of the organization and ensure smooth operational delivery.

2. Strategic Engagement & Networking



Liaise with state governments, skill missions, universities, industries, and sector skill councils. Forge affiliations, partnerships, and collaborations with government bodies, academic institutions, and local industry associations. Negotiate and manage MOUs, contracts, and partnerships.

3. Training & Assessment Capacity Building



Expand the certified Trainer and Assessor base across India. Design and implement frameworks for training and assessments as per NCVET norms. Lead initiatives related to IndiaSkills / WorldSkills competitions.

4. Business Development & Revenue



Contribute to achieving annual revenue targets and expanding AEERO's program reach. Monitor cash flows and ensure timely payments from partners and government bodies. Coordinate with senior leadership to devise and implement business strategy.

5. Technology & Process Optimization



Oversee implementation of technology solutions to enhance organizational productivity. Implement policies and processes aligned with the overall strategic goals.

Required Qualifications



Academic:



Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Education/Vocational Education, Public Administration, Development Studies, or related fields. Engineering or technical degrees with experience in skill development will also be considered.

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):



- PMP / PRINCE2 (Project Management)

- NSDC/NCVET certified ToT/ToA

- Lean/Six Sigma or Process Excellence

- Diploma/Certificate in Educational Assessment or Public Policy

Relevant Experience



- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing large-scale operations, preferably in skill development, government liaison, or education/NGO sectors.

- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role handling strategy, stakeholder engagement, and multi-partner project implementation.

Key Competencies



Strong understanding of the NSQF, NCVET, MSDE, NSDC, DGT ecosystem Excellent stakeholder management skills (government, academia, and industry) Demonstrated ability to manage WorldSkills / IndiaSkills processes Strong leadership, analytical, and negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi Willingness to travel across states as needed

Remuneration



Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
