Padmashree College, a premier institution known for academic excellence, is seeking a dynamic and experienced academic leader to head its [Department Name]. The ideal candidate will be a Ph.D. holder with a proven record of teaching, research, academic administration, and departmental leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic and administrative leadership to the department. Develop and implement departmental strategies aligned with the college's vision and NAAC/NIRF goals. Supervise curriculum development, teaching methods, and ensure adherence to academic standards. Mentor faculty in research, teaching, and career growth. Promote quality research and secure research grants/projects. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. Plan and conduct departmental events, guest lectures, workshops, and industry collaboration programs. Prepare departmental reports, manage budgets, and oversee faculty workloads. Liaise with university bodies, accreditation agencies, and other external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Strong academic background with publications in peer-reviewed journals. Experience with curriculum design, NAAC/NBA accreditation processes, and academic audits. Knowledge of education technology and student engagement strategies. Ability to guide Ph.D. and postgraduate students.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a HOD or in similar academic leadership positions Min 5 Years. Participation in academic councils, boards of studies, and research committees. Strong industry-academic linkage or consultancy experience.
