The Head of Technology is responsible for leading the technical direction, solution design, and delivery excellence for all system integration projects. This role oversees the planning, development, and implementation of integrated technology solutions for clients, ensuring quality, scalability, and innovation.
Define and implement the company's technology roadmap in line with business and client needs.
Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, platforms, and tools relevant to system integration and automation.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, architects, and engineers.
Drive innovation in solution design to strengthen the company's competitive position.
2. Solution Architecture & Design
Oversee the architecture and design of integrated IT systems, ensuring interoperability and performance.
Develop technical standards, frameworks, and best practices for solution delivery.
Review and approve technical proposals, design documents, and system configurations.
Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to design winning, cost-effective technical solutions.
3. Project Delivery & Quality Assurance
Ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of integration and infrastructure projects.
Oversee implementation teams, including software, network, cloud, and security specialists.
Establish project governance, technical documentation standards, and QA procedures.
Troubleshoot complex project issues and ensure client satisfaction.
4. Infrastructure & Operations Management
Supervise the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, storage, cloud, and networking).
Ensure robust system performance, security, and scalability across client environments.
Implement ITIL best practices for service management and support.
5. Vendor & Partner Management
Manage relationships with OEMs, distributors, and technology partners.
Evaluate and select third-party tools and solutions for integration projects.
Negotiate technical terms and ensure compliance with partner certifications and standards.
6. Cybersecurity & Compliance
Ensure that all solutions adhere to cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, PDPA, NIST).
Oversee security assessments and risk management processes.
Lead initiatives to enhance data protection and disaster recovery strategies.
7. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary technology team (network engineers, system engineers, developers, architects).
Promote a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
Develop training plans and certification paths for technical staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of experience in system integration, IT infrastructure, or enterprise solutions.
Strong expertise in networks, servers, virtualization, cloud (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity.
Proven experience leading multi-vendor, multi-technology projects.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, CCNP, Azure/AWS Architect) are advantageous.
