PRODUCTION & OPERATIONS - SUPPLY-CHAIN
Main Goal
xc2xb7 Scope : Hybrid Seed production, Foundation Seed Production, Seed Production Research, Plant Operations, Inventory Management and Logistics
xc2xb7 Manage the supply chain department for foundation seed to despatch in order to reach customer service satisfaction and to enable the development of the Business Supply Area (BSA).
xc2xb7 Develops strong connection with Research and Development, Quality, Sales and Marketing and Finance to ensure quantity, quality and timely supply of Seeds to meet the growth of the organization
xc2xb7 Lead, coach and develop supply chain team
xc2xb7 Manage outsource and take capex decision
Job description
Organization and activities managements
xc2xb7 Manage the end-to-end supply chain, including seed production, processing, packing, logistics, and inventory control to ensure timely and cost-effective production and delivery.
xc2xb7 Define the challenges and responsibilities of the teams
xc2xb7 Build and monitor indicators to assess performance
xc2xb7 Oversee daily operations, focusing on production efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
xc2xb7 Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
xc2xb7 Strong collaboration with supporting teams such as Quality, Research, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and HR.
xc2xb7 Develop a close relationship with internal or external agronomic production stakeholders.
Continuous improvement and performance improvement
xc2xb7 Develop the main processes and operating procedures to bring efficiency
xc2xb7 Identify priority areas or processes to be improved and define objectives to be achieved
xc2xb7 Ensure that the processes & standards are properly implemented
xc2xb7 Set up a process review for continuous improvement
xc2xb7 Set up an effective planning system and seek to systematically reduce leadtime
xc2xb7 Propose improvements to information and reporting systems.
