Description Role title: Head of Source to Pay Band: E Function: Corporate Functions Service Line Location: India Reports to: Head of Corporate Functions Service Line, _VOIS Direct reports: 900 team Role purpose: Corporate Functions Service Line started out with Finance Shared Services (FinOps, Advanced Finance Services and Tax) and SCM service delivery teams. In February 2020 Security Operations and in April GBIS - Data & Analytics were aligned to CFSL. We have four strategic priorities on top of delivering our BAU services on time, in budget and under control. These are: Partner Promise, Shape the Day after Tomorrow, Digital Acceleration and Growth with Scale and Speed - all of these underpinned by the Big Shifts as called out in the _VOIS strategy. We have activities that are highly specialized and CoE based as well as high volume and scale activities. Our blend of human and machine interaction is increasing YoY. An example is Invoice Processing with 2.7Mn invoices processed yearly of which in excess of 50% were touchless. 2 e-invoicing portals, 1 intelligent OCR, 4 BOTs and machine learning algorithms are utilized in this process. Source to Pay is the largest end to end service portfolio in CFSL. We run multi-process, multi-location services from procurement and purchasing operations to invoice processing and vendor queries. We process significantly high transaction volumes and disburse billions each year in service of our local markets. We constantly strive to increase our efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging automation assets and also optimising the core functionality within our global instance ERP (SAP EVO). We aim to be at the front end of leveraging new technology in this end to end process and have very high adoption rates for automation technologies. Daily operations management and a continuous improvement culture built into our agile ways of working (model office) and visible leadership to teams on the ground is critical to our success. Additional Information As the Head of Source to Pay, you will ensure that we are building the services of tomorrow while maintaining reliable compliant and efficient day to day service delivery for our partners across Vodafone. As a senior professional at executive level, you will be comfortable with detailed subject matter conversations on purchasing controls or transactional accounting as well as discussing usage of automation technologies and how to pilot these and fail fast. Discussing any service issues with partners and using data to showcase how they can be addressed and not recur is also a key focus. Driving best practices across all the delivery locations to enable consistency of service quality is critical to the function\'s success. You will be developing and encouraging the talented teams and inspiring them onto to new levels of productivity and effectiveness is essential. You will lead in overseeing, anchoring and providing sponsorship for people & performance management, budgeting, staffing, migrations & business continuity to ensure effectiveness of all functional management processes. As a member of the CFSL leadership team, you will work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Accounting, Reporting and Controlling and Head of Finance CoEs to ensure consistent control of the global operations and maintain high compliance rates. Ensuring we continue to improve our partner satisfaction and address partners concerns and anticipate future needs is key. You partner and support the Head of Finance Operations and Margin Assurance (FOMA), the Head of SCM Development & Operations and teams to deliver source to pay operations, strategies & goals for the local markets. Your role engages with Heads of Finance Operations and Supply Chain and the broader local market finance teams as needed by the local Finance Director as well as the Communities of Practice. You will continuous liaison across the senior stakeholders in finance and SCM is important to help maintain a scalable model and maintain world class standards of delivery. Job Responsibility Core competencies .Experience of managing a large scale global business services unit within a multi-entity complex group structure .Source to Pay experience, in multi billion enterprise with ERP technology .Significant accounting and compliance experience with GDPR, IFRS and S404 obligations .Operations / Lean Six Sigma expertise preferably black belt .Piloting and scaling innovation in operational processes .Automation Tools understanding e.g. RPA, iOCR, Machine Learning . Excellent communication skills - ability to convey a compelling narrative behind the numbers, with consistency and differentiation only where needed .High applied thinking skills to look at issues with a 360 degree view .Resilient, self-confidence and self-assurance.
