Purpose and position in Organisation
As a Head of Solution Design, you will be responsible for working as a key part of the pursuit team to shape and design commercially robust and compelling recruitment solutions that align and can demonstrate how AMS services will achieve their desired talent acquisition / talent orchestration outcomes. You will work across multiple business sectors and regions developing solutions that incorporate the most effective team structure, delivery model, technological innovation, data and insights, and support mechanisms to provide best in class services within a profitable commercial framework.
This role reports to the Global Head of Solution Design and plays a key role in supporting growth efforts of AMS and in embedding Next Generational talent thinking into our client organisations.
Key Responsibilities
Understand the unique needs and outcomes desired by each client and develop strategies and solutions leveraging our next generation thinking to the greatest extent feasible to result in winning, innovative solutions.
Responsible for clearly articulating and bringing to life operationally the value and detail of a solution to clients in both written submission and sales pitches.
Successfully set expectations and manage time effectively throughout the design process. Persists to complete tasks and responsibilities, even in the face of difficulties or changing requirements.
Help shape our next generation talent acquisition and orchestration thinking, by providing inputs based on lived experiences through pursuits, enabling the core Next Gen programme team to shape and evolve our operating model in a market viable way..
Bring your analytical and problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset to bear, to drive improvement in our solution design methodology, embracing technology and AI.
Manage multiple pursuit/projects simultaneously and act as a true consultant to internal and external partners/stakeholders.
Uses AMS data and insights, market intelligence and industry trends to test the viability and value of solutions proposed, Is able to clearly create links between the solution and the outcomes its intended to deliver in discussions with internal/external stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Must have proven experience in recruitment operations in
talent acquisition
and/or staffing, RPO or corporate environment.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Is technology-curious and seeks to understand how this influences our solutions and drives the desired outcomes.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, frequently evolving, dynamic environment.
Adept at building confidence and trust when communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Is able to develop persuasive, compelling responses to client questions in real-time situations that support our solution design recommendations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Comfortable with ambiguity. Capable of building informed working assumptions that allow decisions to be reached and solutions designed.
Agile and flexible - able to interpret and accommodate others' feedback and see 'the bigger picture in any situation and use this to design / adapt the right solution.
Commercially astute - has the ability to understand the commercial influencers within each solution developed and how these can be balanced / reconciled against both AMS and the client's needs.
