Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced, driven, and strategic
Head of Sales
to lead our dynamic sales team across B2B, Retail, and B2C verticals. This role involves building a high-performing team, driving revenue growth, developing new markets, and strengthening customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of field sales, strong leadership abilities, and a hands-on approach to execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Set ambitious sales targets by region, vertical, and product line (bubble tops, glass bottles, etc.).
Identify new market opportunities and drive business expansion initiatives.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team including Regional Managers, Sales Leads, and Executives.
Drive team performance through regular reviews, target-setting, and skill-building initiatives.
Build a strong sales culture focused on ownership, performance, and customer success.
Channel & Customer Management:
Manage and optimize B2B, Retail, and Apartment (B2C) sales channels.
Build and maintain key relationships with distributors, retail chains, corporate clients, and HORECA accounts.
Resolve escalations and ensure customer satisfaction across all touchpoints.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
Collaborate with Operations, CRM, and Finance teams for smooth order fulfillment and collections.
Track and report key KPIs including revenue, conversion rates, team productivity, and customer retention.
Oversee implementation and usage of CRM tools for pipeline management and performance tracking.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
Stay updated on developments in the packaged water industry and recommend innovations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Channel-wise growth in sales volumes
New client acquisition and retention rates
Regional sales performance metrics
Team productivity and goal achievement
CRM usage and data accuracy
Reduction in customer churn and complaint resolution time
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field
10+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in FMCG/Beverages/HORECA sectors
Proven track record in building and leading sales teams
Strong understanding of B2B and Retail sales dynamics
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to travel across regions as needed

Experience in scaling operations across cities or states
Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales dashboards
Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and adaptability
Knowledge of water industry regulations and practices is a plus.
