Key Responsibilities
Vertical Strategy:
Execute specialized sales strategies for three distinct channels:
HORECA:
Partner with Executive Chefs and F&B Managers at 5-star hotels, fine-dining restaurants, and cloud kitchens.
Modern Trade:
Manage listings, shelf space, and relationships with premium retail chains (e.g., Foodhall, Nature's Basket, etc.).
Wholesale:
Drive volume through large-scale distributors and institutional buyers.
Revenue Ownership:
Own the P&L for Bangalore. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Cold Chain Mastery:
Ensure the "Craft Meat" quality standards are maintained from warehouse to delivery, managing client expectations regarding freshness and lead times.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, and meat consumption trends in the Bangalore market.
Reporting:
Build and present weekly sales pipelines, conversion rates, and collection reports.
Who You Are
The Meat Expert:
You have
5-10 years of experience
specifically selling meat (poultry, seafood, red meat, or cold cuts). You understand cuts, grading, and cold-chain logistics.
The Networker:
You have an existing "Rolodex" of Executive Chefs and Category Managers in Bangalore.
The Closer:
You are comfortable negotiating high-value contracts and managing long-term credit cycles.
Data-Driven:
You love spreadsheets as much as you love a good steak. You use data to forecast and optimize sales routes.
