Job Overview:

Plasti Surge Industries Pvt Ltd.

a leading Health Care Products manufacturing company established since 1989 urgently require, The Head of R&D who will lead the development of innovative chemistry-based analysis kits for environmental monitoring and other rapid testing categories (water, soil, food, veterinary, medical, etc.). The role will involve spearheading product development, managing a team of chemists, establishing a structured R&D framework, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This role also entails fostering innovation, publishing research articles, and enhancing the company's market presence through groundbreaking scientific contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Development & Innovation

- Lead the development of new chemistry-based rapid testing kits in line with market needs (e.g.,

water testing kits, soil testing kits, pesticide residue detection, food fortification, adulteration

detection, veterinary, and medical kits).

- Oversee the refinement and enhancement of existing products, including field water and soil testing kits, and the digital multi-parameter water quality analyzer.

- Research and identify emerging trends and technologies in chemical analysis and environmental monitoring.

- Develop prototypes, conduct pilot testing, and validate product performance through rigorous testing.

Leadership & Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5 chemists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

- Define team roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.

- Develop and implement training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure all products meet relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, BIS, FDA).

- Develop and oversee rigorous quality control processes and documentation.

- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and approvals for new products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
