Head of Outsourcing & Global Operations (India)

Desi Chinese is a USA-based food company focused on manufacturing authentic Desi Chinese food products in India and distributing them across global markets. We are building a strong outsourcing and operations team in India to ensure quality, scalability, and international compliance.

Job Responsibilities

Set up and manage outsourced food manufacturing operations in India. Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage third-party food manufacturing partners. Ensure compliance with international food safety and quality standards (FDA, HACCP, ISO, FSSAI). Develop and implement SOPs for production, packaging, storage, and exports. Coordinate with logistics partners for international shipments. Manage vendor contracts, pricing, and cost optimization. Conduct regular quality audits and corrective action plans. Work closely with US-based leadership to align production with global demand. Build and manage local operations and quality control teams.
Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, outsourcing, or supply chain operations. Strong understanding of export-oriented food production. Experience working with third-party manufacturers and suppliers. Knowledge of international food safety and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business (preferred).
