Role Overview
We're looking for a meticulous and hands-on Head of Operations to lead and streamline our end-to-end order fulfillment, logistics, and warehouse management. You'll be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience--from packaging to returns--and managing backend operations with platforms like Shopify and Shiprocket, along with proactive inventory tracking and replenishment planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Order & Fulfillment Management:
- Oversee daily order processing via Shopify
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure brand-aligned packaging and delivery standards
- Track dispatch timelines, delivery SLAs, and undelivered orders
2. Logistics & Returns:
- Manage Shiprocket dashboard for courier scheduling, pickups, escalations
- Handle return pickups and reverse logistics
- Track NDRs (non-delivery reports) and follow up on re-attempts
- Resolve return/exchange queries in coordination with customer support
3. Exchange & Quality Tracking:
- Maintain logs of exchanges and returns: reasons, quality issues, feedback
- Share weekly insights with the CEO and product team to reduce return rate
- Monitor repeat issues to flag quality or size fit concerns
4. Warehouse & Inventory Management:
- Oversee warehouse operations--space optimization, labeling, order prep
- Maintain real-time inventory records of all SKUs
- Conduct routine stock audits to minimize shrinkage or mismatch
- Update inventory dashboards and SKU movement reports
- Track low-stock items and notify CEO in advance for reordering
- Maintain reorder thresholds and procurement registries
5. Reporting & Systems:
- Build and update daily, weekly, and monthly operational trackers
- Use Excel/Google Sheets and Shopify analytics for actionable reports
- Suggest improvements in automation, SKU tagging, and warehouse SOPs
Ideal Candidate
- 3-6 years of e-commerce operations and warehouse management experience
- Strong working knowledge of Shopify, Shiprocket, and Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with inventory audits, warehouse flow design, and dispatch cycles
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to strong operational hygiene
- Startup mindset with high ownership and comfort with fast-paced scale
