Roles and Responsibilities:
The role is multifaceted and crucial for the success of the institution, with a special focus on managing a girls' residential school.
1. Administrative Responsibilities
School Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce all school policies, especially those specific to the residential aspect of the school.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the school budget, ensuring proper resource allocation.
Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and supervise all staff, ensuring they are motivated and effective.
Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of all school facilities, including dormitories, classrooms, and dining halls.
2. Academic Responsibilities
Curriculum: Ensure the curriculum meets educational standards and student needs.
Academic Oversight: Monitor and evaluate teaching methods and educational programs.
Student Assessment: Oversee the assessment of student progress, including exams and testing.
Professional Development: Promote continuous professional development for all teachers and staff.
3. Pastoral and Residential Life
Student Welfare: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, providing a supportive environment.
Behavior Management: Implement and monitor disciplinary policies.
Counseling: Provide or facilitate access to counseling and mental health services for students.
Residential Oversight: Oversee all aspects of residential life to ensure it contributes positively to student development.
