ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Head of HR for our Ludhiana location to oversee HR operations for a workforce of approximately 300 employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Industrial Relations (IR), excellent communication skills, and established connections with local government departments and labour offices. The role emphasizes compliance management, employee engagement, and HR operations in a non-unionized environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Human Resources Management:
Lead and manage all HR functions at the location, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Develop and implement HR strategies and policies tailored to the needs of the mall's workforce. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management to maintain a high-
performing team. Drive employee engagement initiatives to promote a collaborative and productive workplace
culture.
2. Compliance and Legal: Ensure strict adherence to labour laws, employment regulations, and statutory requirements. Manage compliance activities such as PF, ESI, gratuity, and other labour welfare schemes. Coordinate with labour offices and other government bodies for inspections, audits, and legal
obligations. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submissions of statutory filings.
3. Industrial Relations (IR):
Proactively address employee grievances and implement solutions to maintain harmony in the workplace.
Leverage local connections with government and labour departments to address operational challenges.
Anticipate and mitigate potential IR risks in the non-unionized setup.
4. Training and Development: Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to improve workforce capabilities. Implement performance management systems to drive employee growth and organizational
success.
5. Reporting and Administration: Ensure accurate data management in HR systems and prepare periodic reports on workforce
metrics. Provide timely insights on employee engagement, turnover, and other HR trends.
Qualifications and Skills: Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience with a strong focus on compliance and IR in
non-unionized environments. Skills:
o In-depth knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance. o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. o Proficiency in HR software and MS Office tools.

o Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Other Requirements:
o Proven experience liaising with government officials and labour departments. o Local connections in Ludhiana are highly preferred.
