We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented
Head of Holidays & Holiday Packages
to lead, scale, and own the complete holiday packages business. The role will drive product strategy, supplier partnerships, pricing, revenue growth, and customer experience across domestic and international holiday offerings within the OTA ecosystem.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Ownership & Strategy
Own the
end-to-end P&L
of the Holidays & Packages vertical.
Define and execute growth strategy for
domestic and international holidays
.
Drive GMV, margins, conversion rates, and repeat bookings.
Product & Package Development
Conceptualize, design, and launch innovative holiday packages.
Oversee itinerary planning, costing, inclusions, and packaging strategy.
Ensure competitive, customer-centric, and scalable holiday products.
Supplier, DMC & Partner Management
Lead partnerships with
DMCs, hotels, airlines, transport vendors, and aggregators
.
Negotiate commercial terms, margins, exclusivity, and inventory.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and service quality benchmarks.
Pricing, Revenue & Performance Optimization
Own pricing strategy, markups, promotions, and seasonal offers.
Monitor KPIs: GMV, margins, cancellations, fulfillment SLAs, CSAT.
Implement strategies to improve profitability and reduce operational leakage.
Marketing & Demand Generation
Work closely with marketing teams on
campaigns, offers, and destination pushes
.
Support content, landing pages, and conversion-focused initiatives.
Drive demand through festivals, long weekends, and peak travel seasons.
Operations & Customer Experience
Ensure smooth execution of holiday bookings and on-ground operations.
Improve post-booking experience and manage escalations.
Drive high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Team Leadership
Build, lead, and mentor the Holidays team (product, contracting, ops).
Set KPIs, conduct reviews, and build a high-performance culture.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with
Tech, Finance, Legal, Customer Support, and Sales
teams.
Support automation of holiday workflows and system integrations.
Ensure compliance with internal and industry regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience
in
OTA / Travel & Tourism
, with strong exposure to
holiday packages
.
Proven experience owning
holiday business strategy and revenue growth
.
Strong understanding of
pricing, contracting, margins, and operations
.
Experience working with
DMCs, hotels, airlines, and transport partners
.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Data-driven mindset with experience in KPI-based decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA / Postgraduate degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or Management.
Experience in scaling holiday businesses within
startups or fast-growing OTAs
.
Exposure to international destinations and outbound holiday products.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
