What you\'ll do In this role, the Head of GRF India will lead an internal team plus external facility management and real estate partners and be accountable for all strategic, tactical, and operational tasks in the areas of Real Estate, Project and Facility Management across the India portfolio which comprises of 10 locations, 22 buildings totaling approximately 2.6 million square feet including the main campus in Bangalore. This role will also be accountable to deliver tangible real estate solutions and projects which aligns business needs and demands with market possibilities and innovative workspaces within the new flex/hybrid world working in close collaboration with our Regional APJ and Global GRF teams. In addition, having the ability to articulate, drive and execute change as SAP moves towards a more flexible way of working. We expect the following impact from this role: Towards our internal customers: To act as a business partner for our major internal clients across India Provide continuous improvement in effective workplace delivery, location strategies, facilities operation and service orientation towards business demands and a demonstrated leadership in innovative workplace solutions. Demonstration of strong leadership, timely communication and knowledge of the subject matter to establish trust Helping our businesses and employees move to a more flexible, future of work environment It is expected that the candidate is comfortable with the Transformation Agent, Business Partner and Financial Steward role. Towards GRF: A customer and service-oriented delivery organization for facility services, project delivery, real estate & workplace solutions and source of innovation with a strong focus on change management and operational excellence A key member of the APJ leadership team bringing strong organizational skills and a key contributor to help drive continuous improvement Accurate budgeting, forecasting and spending A desire to challenge the norm, be curious, bring \'outside in\' and look for ways to trail new products and innovate What you bring Leader with 10+ years people management skills and at least 5+ years\' experience in leading a large service organization in a corporate environment 10 years + experience ideally in Cross India or regional Real Estate/Facilities/Services Organization with portfolios larger than 100.000 square meter (1 million square feet) across India Experience of managing a new build campus (stakeholder engagement, design, construction, operating) would be an advantage Record in value creation and innovation Demonstrated strong ability collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders International Experience preferred Cross-cultural (management) experience desirable. Degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Architecture, Finance, Legal or Business with an emphasis on Real Estate Facilities or Construction preferred English fluent, Hindi and Knowledge of Kannada (written & spoken) will be an added advantage Skills, Competencies and Expectations A strong leader with focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building, able to manage needs and expectations and deliver solutions whilst balancing customer, shareholder and employee needs Leads an organization responsible for delivering and developing Real Estate, workspace and facility service solutions based on business, market and trending demands in India Key attention to detail and effective communicator at all levels of the organization Ability to bring \'outside in\' and offer new ideas and solutions to deliver a better outcome Change management, personnel management and strong communication skill sets Ability to manage internal teams and external partners to deliver the best results through relationships, trust, empowerment and coaching Build relationships to manage user needs and expectations with a high degree of stakeholder management Experience in working and thriving in a virtual international environment Solution oriented in customer and stakeholder meetings Strong financial acumen - budgeting, forecast, analysis and ability to find cost efficient value creating solutions Participate in GRF APJ leadership team, creating direction and goals for GRF India Innovate, design and implement new workplace strategies incl. future of work/flex/hybrid models with innovation in workplace design Meet the Team The Global Real Estate & Facilities Organization (GRF) helps SAP run better and is a key enabler for employee experience, innovation capability, employer attractiveness and ultimately SAP\'s brand value.
