As the Director of Finance at Hunger Inc Hospitality, you will drive and grow sound financial practices for all our brands. Your acute attention to detail will provide leadership to the Finance function, and lead all activities related to business planning, financial performance, accounting and budgeting. You will be experienced in designing financial strategies, forecast and revenue models, and be responsible for the financial health and sustainable profitability of the company.
This role will report to the Founders and will attend to our Head Office in Lal Baug, with periodic travel within outlets as necessary.
Our flagship restaurant, The Bombay Canteen showcases the wealth of India\xe2\x80\x99s cuisine by recreating local, seasonal dishes and reinterpreting age old Indian culinary traditions in a frequently changing menu. Our next venture, O Pedro, pays homage to the energy of Goa in a menu that brings back the fun of tropical living with simple, sophisticated food and drink, with influences from the state\xe2\x80\x99s Portuguese history. Bombay Sweet Shop is a modern day mithai shop which brings back the magic of mithai in a never seen before avatar, in a fun and contemporary way, while staying deeply rooted in traditions and techniques. Our online venture - enthucutlet is a bimonthly food mag that brings you unusual stories about food in India, and our all-day cafe Veronicas, holds a piece of Mumbais heart in the iconic Jude Bakery, and showcases the best sandwiches, coffee, bakes, and wine!

Responsibilities:
Design and implement Hunger Inc\xe2\x80\x99s financial strategy with the Founders for all our brands
Lead the timely preparation and analysis of the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial statements, including cost analysis, revenue and variance analysis, and cash flow analysis
Analyse historical data to set benchmarks in budgeting, forecast and cash flows
Build annual forecasts, budgets, revenues, and the P&L effectively
Ensure compliance for all taxation, audits, laws and regulations, including preparation and submission of returns and reports as per each of their deadlines
Manage the company\xe2\x80\x99s finance team and accounting management
Provide financial counsel and recommendations to the leadership by identifying growth opportunities and risks
Identify and implement best practices to make the company, processes and controls more efficient
Requirements
8 - 12 years experience in Finance, with a Masters or CA qualification
Previous experience in scaling with an Indian startup is a must
Proven leadership, business finance, controllership, and communication skills
Intermediate knowledge of MS Suite, Reporting dashboards, Financial systems
Fluent in English and Hindi
