We're looking for a forward-thinking

Head of Finance & Strategic Planning

to architect and scale the financial backbone of a rapidly growing SaaS business. As we move from $5M to $50M ARR, this role will be pivotal in ensuring financial discipline, operational excellence, and strategic foresight. You'll lead all aspects of finance--from day-to-day operations and compliance to long-term financial strategy and investor relations--ensuring the company is well-positioned for sustained, profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial operations:

Oversee end-to-end finance activities including accounting, payroll, vendor management, and collections (AR/AP).

Build scalable systems:

Establish financial processes, tools, and reporting frameworks to support a high-growth SaaS environment.

Ensure compliance:

Drive statutory adherence across PF, PT, GST, and other regulatory requirements.

Drive planning and forecasting:

Partner with business leaders to design and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models that guide strategic decisions.

Optimize working capital:

Manage cash flow, monitor liquidity, and implement strategies for capital efficiency.

Partner with leadership:

Work directly with the CEO and executive team on strategic initiatives, growth planning, and business performance reviews.

Investor and external relations:

Manage relationships with investors, banking partners, auditors, and financial advisors.

Fundraising readiness:

Support fundraising efforts through financial due diligence, investor decks, and scenario modeling.

Audit and governance:

Oversee internal controls and coordinate statutory audits, ensuring full transparency and compliance.

Operational excellence:

Identify opportunities to reduce costs, streamline workflows, and improve financial accuracy and insight.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

8-12 years of experience in finance leadership, controllership, or strategic finance roles.
Strong foundation in accounting, FP&A, and compliance; experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models is a plus.
Proven ability to design financial systems and controls from scratch in high-growth or startup environments.
Analytical mindset with deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and business performance tracking.
Hands-on leader who thrives in ambiguity and can balance strategic vision with execution.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across functions and with senior stakeholders.

Preferred Background:

Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.
Prior experience working with Big 4 auditors or managing statutory audits.
Exposure to investor relations or fundraising activities.
