We are a premier architectiral practice and innovation hub. We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Chartered Accountant to manage our financial operations, ideally someone with prior exposure to architecture, design, or creative firms.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Accounting:
Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Manage GST, TDS, PF, and other statutory compliances.
Budgeting & Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditures against budgets.
Provide timely financial analysis to support decision-making.
Audit & Compliance:
Coordinate statutory audits and internal audits.
Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements.
Maintain financial records and reports in accordance with Indian GAAP and applicable laws.
Vendor & Project Accounting:
Manage vendor payments and reconciliations.
Handle project-wise accounting, including tracking costs for academic programs, infrastructure projects, and events.
Experience with architecture or design project accounting is a strong advantage.
Process Improvement & Advisory:
Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes.
Advise management on financial planning, risk mitigation, and cost optimization.
Support fundraising, grants, and donor reporting if applicable.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required.
Minimum 5-8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in architecture, design, or creative firms.
Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, PF, and compliance requirements.
Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and maintain confidentiality.
Desirable:
Prior experience with project-based accounting, particularly in creative or educational environments.
Exposure to financial planning for non-profits, grants, or academic institutions.
