is responsible for leading the financial strategy, planning, management, and reporting of the organization. This role oversees all accounting, budgeting, auditing, taxation, and financial operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and sustainable financial health. The incumbent acts as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, supporting decision-making through financial insights and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Strategy
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Provide financial analysis and advice to management for key business decisions.
2. Accounting & Financial Management
Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, and general ledger.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
3. Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
Implement and monitor strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
Manage company's cash flow, liquidity, and working capital effectively.
Optimize fund management, banking operations, and credit facilities.
Evaluate investment opportunities and risk management strategies.
5. Taxation
Oversee direct and indirect taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns and coordination with tax consultants.
Advise management on tax-efficient strategies and compliance updates.
6. Leadership & Team Development
Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team to enhance performance and efficiency.
Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business growth.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (ICWA), or MBA (Finance).
Experience:
10-15+ years of experience in finance and accounts, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Industry Preference:

Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind-AS / IFRS).
Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
