Requirements:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Engineering to lead our technology and engineering teams. This is a leadership position that requires not only strong technical expertise but also proven experience in managing people, processes, and products. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on engineering skills, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to scale our engineering function, drive innovation, and deliver world-class technology solutions.
As Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for setting the technical direction of the organization, building and managing a high-performing engineering team, and collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure that our products and platforms align with business goals. You will be the custodian of our engineering culture, ensuring best practices in architecture, scalability, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy:
  • Define and implement the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of engineers, ensuring strong collaboration, accountability, and performance.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and ownership across the engineering function.
  • Technology & Architecture:
  • Oversee system architecture, infrastructure, and technology stack, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Guide the design and development of software solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Product Development & Delivery:
  • Partner with Product Management to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features and solutions.
  • Implement agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices for efficient development cycles.
  • Team Building & Talent Management:
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.
  • Provide career development opportunities and performance feedback to engineering team members.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing, training, and professional growth initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Partner with customer success, operations, and sales teams to address client requirements and feedback.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Define and track key engineering metrics (velocity, quality, uptime, etc.) to monitor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.
  • Optimize resource allocation, budgets, and vendor relationships to maximize ROI.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of modern software development practices, cloud platforms, and system design.
  • Proven ability to build and scale engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
