Head of Department - Sports

Residential IB School, Tamil Nadu

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Head of Sports Department (HOD - Sports)

to lead and oversee the school's sports and physical education programs. The ideal candidate should have

3-4 years of prior experience as a Sports HOD

in a reputed school, preferably with exposure to IB curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, plan, and implement a comprehensive sports curriculum aligned with the school's philosophy. Supervise and mentor the sports faculty and coaches. Organize inter-house and inter-school tournaments, events, and training camps. Ensure students' holistic development through fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Manage sports facilities, equipment, and safety protocols. Coordinate with school leadership to integrate sports with academic and co-curricular programs.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physical Education or Sports Science. Minimum

3-4 years of experience as Sports HOD

in a reputed school. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in a

residential and/or IB school

preferred.
